Reiki Level One: The First Degree (Shoden) Refresher Workshop

This is a half day Reiki Level 1 workshop is for anyone who has already completed Reiki Level 1 and feel like they need or would like a refresher to re-start their healing journey. 

Reiki Level One: The First Degree (Shoden)

You will be learning ‘Usui’ Reiki which was discovered by a Japanese monk called Dr Mikao Usui and is known as traditional Reiki.

Reiki Level 1: The First  Degree is the initiation to Reiki, it will give you the foundations of Reiki and allows you to only self-treat.    ​

Theme: Awakening & Self-Healing

  • You are attuned to Reiki and opened as a channel.

  • Focus is on self-healing and practicing on close friends/family.

  • Learn hand positions for body healing.

  • Begin to feel the energy: warmth, tingling, vibration.

  • Spiritual shift: You awaken to subtle energy and start cleansing old patterns.

  • Energetic stage: You connect to the universal current.

Reiki Level Two: The Second Degree (Okuden)

Reiki Level Two: The Second Degree is the practitioner level, it is about continued self-healing, development and growth as it broadens your knowledge and healing skills to enable you to help others heal and grow.

Theme: Expansion & Practice

  • You receive the three practitioner symbols (Power, Harmony, Distance).

  • Your healing ability deepens: now you can treat emotions, the subconscious, and send Reiki across time and space.

  • Energy flow is stronger, more precise.

  • Spiritual shift: You move from self-focus to helping others, expanding your service. Intuition grows.

  • Energetic stage: You expand into the wider field of energy — beyond time, beyond space.

Reiki Level Three: The Third Degree (Shinpiden) 

Reiki Level Three: The Third Degree (Shinpiden, the Master Level) is a very deep and transformative stage. â€‹The term ‘Master’ is not superiority status, it’s another way of saying ‘Knowledgeable’ or ‘Wise’.

Theme: Mastery & Embodiment

  • You receive the Master symbol (Dai Ko Myo), the “Great Shining Light.”

  • Reiki becomes less about techniques and more about being Reiki itself.

  • Healing reaches the deepest levels: karmic, ancestral, soul contracts, past lives.

  • Some lineages also train you to teach and attune others.

  • Spiritual shift: You embody compassion, surrender, and unity with source. Reiki becomes a way of living, not just a practice.

  • Energetic stage: You merge with Reiki — living as a channel of divine light.
